Ithaca Produce Co., Inc. has been serving the food service industry for over 41 years. Our company's founder and owner, Dick Cutia, started the business in 1962. After many years of traveling to produce markets daily to find only the freshest product for his customers, and working long hours at his home in Etna, Dick was able to build the business to a state, which required more employees and space. In 1989 Dick with the help of his son Richard completed their new warehouse and office facility at 2025 Dryden Rd in Freeville. Its central location made it the perfect spot to service our accounts all over the state. The new warehouse provided 8400 sq. feet of storage and 4200 sq. feet of variable temperature cooler space. Through out the years Ithaca Produce continues to prides its self on providing the highest quality produce available combined with the most reliable and accommodating service. We currently serve more then 750 customers. Our flexible management structure allows us to suit the needs of many different types of institutions such as universities, restaurants, caterers, in-house eateries and public schools. Ithaca Produce has changed from a small produce wholesaler to a full service food distributor with the ability to tap into the global market. Along with carrying a full line of fresh fruits and vegetables, we deliver fresh milk and other dairy products including cheese, sour cream, and ice cream. We also have installed several new freezers to handle our increasing line of frozen foods. We carry fresh and frozen meats, stocking a wide variety of beef, chicken, pork, lamb and veal. Fresh spices are flown in daily and we stock racks of dry spices to make sure we have the one you need. We have all the paper products that our customers need from napkins to toilet paper. Ithaca Produce also carries institutional groceries for all of our customers. To completely service our customers we offer chemicals and cleaning supplies also. Ithaca Produce has been working hard to truly be a full service provider. We are proud of our past and firmly believe it was the hard work then which has put us at this point and we continue to work hard for our customers in the future.
