Established in 1976, Ste. Chapelle is Idaho's largest winery and is a leading wine brand in the Pacific Northwest. Idaho's highly acclaimed volcanic ash soils, vineyard elevations that range as high as 2,900 feet above sea level, long sunny days and cool nights were first discovered by immigrant French and German winemakers in 1872. Today, as the state's largest winery, Ste. Chapelle remains dedicated to honoring Idaho's proud wine-growing tradition and takes pride in showcasing the distinct personality of its vineyards. Highly acclaimed varietals include Johannisberg Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.
