Description of Southern Vermont Natural History Museum
The Southern Vermont Natural History Museum features live animal displays including live birds of prey, native fish, reptiles and more. The Museum is built around the Luman Ranger Nelson natural history collection and includes over 200 species of native birds and mammals. SVNHM offers educational school programs, library programs and presentations for many other civic and private groups around Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and New York. Located on route 9 in West Marlboro, VT at the Hogback Mountain Scenic Overlook with access to hiking trails and wildlife watching.
