SMMC PrimeCare Physicians is a multi-specialty group practice started in 1996 as PrimeCare Physician Associates by a group of local physicians in response to rapid changes in health care. Their goal was to preserve the quality of the personal relationship between patient and doctor. Our focus remains the same today. PrimeCare Physician Associates became part of the Southern Maine Medical Center family as SMMC PrimeCare Physicians in October 2008.
