Collection-agency Aurora

A collection agency/ is an organization which usually works as an agent of a creditor and specializes in collecting unpaid debts while sometimes collecting a small percentage of the money owed. It is also known as an assets recovery agency or financial collection agency. They can be first-party agencies which belong to the original company the money is owed to, or separate third-party collection agencies. They are regulated by the Federal Trade Commission must abide by the Fair Debt Collection Practices act. ACA International is a trade group which represents collection agencies.
