Dr. Herman Kao received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he also completed his general surgery internship as well as his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency. Dr. Kao is a board-certified oral surgeon. Since 2009, Dr. Kao has been in private practice in Texas and currently serves as Vice Chairman and Director of Maxillofacial Trauma at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He's also Co-Director at the Fort Worth Cleft Palate Program.
